Abacela began in 1995 when Earl and Hilda Jones planted the first Tempranillo in the Pacific Northwest. Their passion for Spanish wines led them to the Umpqua Valley where the climate is very similar to Rioja.  All the wines are made from the 77 acre estate and reflect the terroir of their unique vineyard. http://www.abacela.com
